Date Organized: June 20, 1854

Pine Street, north side, between Montgomery and Sansome Streets.
A three story fireproof brick building, city property, in good order, (1860).
1865 Company moved to Sutter Street west of Jones Street.  A two story brick building, city property, in good order.

Apparatus:
c.1855 Engine: Brown, Worcester, Mass., second class, company property. Hose Carriage: two wheel, Applegate & Co., builder, San Francisco.
1861 Engine: Hunneman No.661   “Volunteer No. 7,” second class, 6 ½ inch cylinders, shipped February 18, 1861, city property.  This engine was sold in 1866 for $1,000.  Hose carriage, two wheel, city property.
