Property in the Corporation Yard

Relief Engines and Hose carriages
One engine known as “Old 8” now in use by Columbian Company No. 11, in good order.  Purchased by the City from Pacific Company No. 8 at a cost of $ 1,250.
One engine known as “Old 9”loaned to the residents of St. Ann's Valley, for protection of that locality, in good order.
One small engine at the City Hall used for the purpose of the building, in good order.
One hose carriage in use by Manhattan No. 2, in good order.
One other hose carriage lying in the Corporation yard, worthless.

1862
Property in the Corporation Yard :

There is at present about three thousand feet of good hose in the Department, and about four thousand feet of ordinary hardly fit for use.  The hew hose ordered from the east is daily expected to arrive, when the Department will be placed in a footing equal to any Department in the east.
