INJURED FIRE CAPTAIN DIES

As a result of injuries received when he fell three stories through the roof of a burning apartment house at Arguello boulevard and Geary street, last Tuesday. Captain Theodore B. Kentzel of fire Truck Co.10, died at the Hahnemann Hospital at 9 o’clock yesterday morning without regaining consciousness.

Captain Kentzel had a record of more than 35 years service.

DEATHS

Kentzel – in this city, April 25th, 1919 Captain Theodore P. Kentzel Mary D. Kentzel, father of George B. Kentzel and son Captain William and Eliza Kentzel, A native San Francisco, Cal., aged 52 years 11 months 27 days. Member of S.F.F.D. Widows and Orphans Mutual Aid Assn., Local Order of Moose, S. F. Lodge No. 26, Veteran Firemen’s Association, and David Scannell Club of S.F.F.D.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral tomorrow (Monday), April 28, at the Star of the Sea Church, Geary and Eighth Avenue, where a Requiem High Mass will be sung for the repose his soul, commencing at 11 o’clock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery/ Friends may call at Gray’s Divisadero and Geary,
